Perm Polytechnic University (PNRPU) together with IWWG-RUNISRB organizes a Session on Digital Technologies in the Field of Waste Management. The session will take place within the framework of the conference “Ways of Development of the Waste Management Industry within the Framework of the National Project “Ecology””, held at WasteTech-2019. WasteTech is a premier forum covering the issues of waste treatment, environmental protection and renewable energy exploitation in Russia and neighboring countries.

     At the session the following topics will be extensively discussed:

• Intellectual waste collection;
• Automated and robotic waste sorting complexes;
• The use of satellite imagery data and data from the UAV for monitoring waste disposal facilities;
• Software systems and mobile applications in the field of waste management.
